Who operates Nudge
Nudge is independently operated under the LL Lab brand in Vietnam. This Privacy Policy covers nudge.lllab.space and the web and desktop clients connected to this service. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.
If you connect a desktop client to an independently hosted Nudge server, that server has its own operator and data practices.
Information we process
- Account information: your email address, display name, password hash for password accounts, authentication sessions, and onboarding progress.
- Optional social sign-in: your Google or GitHub identity, verified email, and display name. Nudge does not store provider access or refresh tokens. GitHub sign-in requests profile and email access, not repository access.
- Your documents and preferences: uploaded resumes and job documents, extracted text, answer profiles, and settings such as role, language, and interview type.
- Conversation content: audio, transcripts, questions, generated suggestions, feedback, screenshots, and context you provide, depending on the mode and saving preference.
- Operational information: session identifiers and settings, timestamps, duration, and error information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
- Support correspondence: your contact details and the information you choose to send when requesting help or exercising your privacy rights.
Infrastructure-level access-log fields, including any IP-address logging, have not been confirmed. This notice does not promise that infrastructure logs contain no personal information.
Audio and screen capture
Mock interviews request microphone access when you start speaking. Browser Live Assist receives audio from the source you explicitly share. Native Mac Live Assist captures system audio from running applications independently of the window or display selected for screenshots. Live Assist leaves your microphone off.
Manual Screenshot or Capture & Solve actions send an image of the chosen source with the request. The native Clean Desktop feature creates a filtered mirror for sharing. Direct entire-screen exclusion of the Nudge overlay remains unverified.
You choose the documents and capture source and confirm that you have permission to record and use AI assistance. Check for unrelated conversations, private documents, or other applications playing audio before starting.
Why we process information
We process information to authenticate your account, provide interview practice and live assistance, personalize responses, generate answers and feedback, display saved history, provide recordings, and operate and troubleshoot Nudge. Selected document excerpts and conversation context help ground responses.
We also use information you send us to respond to support and privacy requests. This notice describes these purposes; it does not give permission to record other people or override their rights.
Google Gemini and other providers
Nudge sends relevant conversation audio, text, selected document context, and requested screenshots to Google Gemini for transcription, interview interaction, answer generation, and feedback. Processing can take place through the Nudge server or a direct authenticated realtime connection from your client.
Turning off session saving does not stop Gemini from processing the content needed to provide assistance. Google handles submitted content and responses under the terms applicable to the service. Its data use, review, retention, and processing locations depend on those terms; Nudge does not promise that Google never reviews content, uses it for improvement, or retains it.
Read the Gemini API terms and Google Privacy Policy before sharing information. Share only content you are entitled to provide and avoid unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.
LL Lab manages Nudge’s application, PostgreSQL database, and file storage in Vietnam. Google processing is separate and may take place outside Vietnam. Optional Google or GitHub sign-in also interacts with those providers and their own privacy practices. Information does not stay exclusively on your device.
Saving, expiry, and deletion
Completed sessions receive an expiry date 30 days after they end. After expiry, the normal session-detail view is unavailable. Expiry is not permanent deletion: automated cleanup is not currently configured, so stored session content can remain after expiry until it is deleted.
When Save Transcript is off for a live session, Nudge keeps session metadata, including its title and settings, but does not persist its audio, transcripts, screenshots, generated answers, analysis, description, or extra context. Conversation context remains in memory while the session is active and is processed by Gemini. The saving preference stays fixed during the session. Mock interviews require saving to provide feedback.
Account information, uploaded documents, answer profiles, and unfinished sessions do not have a scheduled automatic deletion period. They remain until removed through available controls or account deletion. Sign-in sessions are valid for up to 30 days; this validity period does not promise deletion of expired authentication records.
Fixed deletion schedules for logs, backups, and recovery copies have not been established. Deleting a session, document, or account removes the corresponding information from active Nudge storage when the deletion succeeds. It does not guarantee removal from every log, backup, or copy held by Google or another provider.
Your controls and privacy requests
You can choose context documents, turn saving off before starting a live session, delete sessions and documents, and delete your account in Account Settings. Successful account deletion removes your profiles, documents, conversation data, recordings, screenshots, authentication records, and connected sign-in identities from active Nudge storage.
For access, correction, export, or requests not supported by the interface, email [email protected]. Describe your request and the account concerned. We may need to verify your identity before providing information or making changes; do not send your password.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and complain to your local data-protection authority. We handle requests under applicable law, including any required response periods and exceptions. Contact us if you need help identifying the appropriate complaint route.
Security and international processing
Nudge limits account data access to the owning account, stores password hashes rather than plaintext passwords, and uses HTTP-only authentication cookies. Use the service at its HTTPS address. No service can guarantee absolute security.
LL Lab’s application storage is in Vietnam, but AI processing and optional sign-in involve external providers and can transfer information internationally. This policy does not promise a particular provider processing country, security certification, or international-transfer safeguard that has not been confirmed.
Adults only
Nudge is intended for people aged 18 or older and is not offered to children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information to Nudge, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and handle the information appropriately.
Updates and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change and show the revised effective date on this page. Material changes will be identified on the website before they take effect, with additional notice where required by law.
For questions about this policy or your information, contact LL Lab at [email protected].
